Oh, Maid Goddess.
Today, too, I offer this prayer.
I, Blanc, a maiden.
Today, too, I live a peaceful maid’s life, blessed by your grace and benevolence.
Recently, I finally gained junior maids.
Watching these new apprentice maids strive, I was reminded of Dorothy during her own apprenticeship days.
These little angels must surely be the ones the Maid Goddess sent for me.
Today, too, I offer my gratitude for the benevolence of the Maid Goddess.
Lately, my thoughts often drift to U, whom I left behind in the old castle.
My proud junior maid is undoubtedly forging her own Maid’s Way (TL Note: A philosophy or path dedicated to the art of being a maid.), yet I worry about U’s growth.
May the Maid Goddess protect U, and may the Goddess’s blessings be upon them, I pray.
Furthermore, I always wish for infinite glory upon my Young Lady… no, my Master.
I pray in the name of Ladies, Nursery, and Chamber. Maid-men.

One day in March, in the year 1815 of the Theus Calendar.
Today, too, was a truly bright spring day.
“Blanc! Good morning!”
“Yes, good morning, Dorothy.”
“Honestly, I keep telling you to drop the ‘nim’!”
As I left the annex and walked to work at the mansion, Dorothy came running up behind me.
Ah.
To encounter Dorothy first thing in the morning—what a wonderful day.
Her youthful features, largely unchanged from three years prior, and the faint freckles still dusting her face.
Amongst the many beauties that populated the Leonhart household’s maid staff, with their diverse looks and long, brown hair cascading over their shoulders, Dorothy’s appearance might certainly be considered unassuming.
However, Dorothy’s unique maid aesthetic lay in her vivacity and normalcy, which, paradoxically, served to highlight her charm.
“Hehe, how truly sublime, even in the morning.”
Anjel approached, following behind Dorothy, who was clinging to me.
She often remarks on the sublimity of Dorothy and me, leading me to suspect Anjel must have awakened to the same Maidology as I.
Each time I gaze upon the maids, I draw the strength to live each day from their sublimity and grandeur, so Anjel must surely share the same conviction as I. Yes, it’s certain.
There’s no need to even speak of it; it’s absolutely clear.
“Good morning, senior maids!”
“Hello, everyone…”
“Good morning, everyone!”
The new trio of apprentice maids also rushed towards us.
Their lively demeanor first thing in the morning was incredibly endearing, like watching little Dorothys in motion.
“Good morning, Asabella.”
“Yes, good morning, Blanc.”
Having safely completed our morning commute, we, the entire maid staff, exchanged morning greetings with Asabella, who was already awaiting us in front of the mansion, before dispersing to our respective areas.
Ah…
To see so many maids first thing in the morning again today. It’s truly wonderful…♥︎
Oh, may such wonderful days always repeat themselves…♥︎
“Blanc, starting next month, you shall attend Aigis with Noir.”
Oh?
****
Aigis Academy.
Located in the inviolable magic city of Lysium, this colossal academy was considered the continent’s most prestigious school, a place where countless talented individuals from across the entire continent gathered.
In the original story, it was where the protagonist and their companions attended, serving as the main stage for ‘Destiny.’
“Blanc, this is the academy uniform that just arrived. How does it look?”
“My Lady looks truly beautiful in anything she wears.”
“R-really? Haha…”
And starting next month, it was where Young Lady Noir was scheduled to attend.
–”Blanc! I’m going to Aigis starting this year!”
Several months ago, when my Young Lady excitedly announced her admission to Aigis Academy, I suddenly realized a forgotten truth.
‘Oh, right. This is an academy story, isn’t it?’
It was truly embarrassing, but I had forgotten that this world was a game, and that game was an SRPG set in an academy.
Once I became a maid, was any of that truly my concern?
Rather than dwelling on the original plot or any such trivialities, it would be far more productive to contemplate how to make the noble maids of the Leonhart family shine even more resplendently.
Yet, even if I had severed ties with the original story, I had remained oblivious until now to the fact that, as long as our Young Lady was Noir von Leonhart, I, too, was destined to become intertwined with the academy.
I am the Young Lady’s personal maid.
As I had to be with her wherever she went, it was a natural progression for me to follow my Young Lady to the academy as well.
“Only one week left until the academy entrance ceremony already? Time seems to fly by so quickly.”
“My Lady, didn’t you say just recently that time seemed to be moving too slowly?”
“That was a different time. They say time is relative for each person, don’t they? So, the time I feel today and the time I felt back then are naturally different… aren’t they?”
For some time now, my Young Lady had been eagerly anticipating her admission to the academy.
Of course, outwardly, she tried her best to conceal her excitement, but she couldn’t deceive my eyes.
My Young Lady would undoubtedly bury her face in her pillow and let out a triumphant ‘Kyaaak!’ once she returned to her room.
“You’re looking forward to it too, Blanc?”
“Ah… yes…”
And, to my great lament and sorrow, I, too, was to be admitted to the academy.
I merely wished to accompany my Young Lady as her attendant, but both she and the Duke forcefully pushed for my admission.
Why, such an outrage…?
Ugh, a maid from a secret organization, now wearing a school uniform and attending classes. Isn’t that an excessive plot element?
Moreover, if I attend the academy, I’ll have to wear a school uniform instead of my maid uniform. A maid unable to wear her maid uniform—is this a test of my very identity as a maid…?
After all the effort it took to finally earn this maid uniform, to be told to take it off…!
However, as a maid, I cannot defy my Master’s request.
As a maid, my Maidology—Blanc’s Maidology—is absolute.
To refuse my Young Lady’s wish for me to attend the academy with her would be an imperfect action.
Struggling to conceal my desire to weep, I had no choice but to accept my academy admission.
“But, My Lady, if it’s not too much trouble, could you tell me what all those numerous bags behind you are for?”
“Hm? Those? They’re survival camping gear, traps for repelling magical beasts, and medicinal herbs for emergencies.”
The academy certainly taught practical combat, so those items would undoubtedly be necessary for my Young Lady someday.
But why was she bringing them from the very entrance ceremony?
Surely the entrance ceremony would conclude with just a simple academy orientation and freshman welcome?
In any case, having many bags wasn’t a problem since they could be stored within Bokja’s spatial confines, but I grew curious about the reason for bringing them specifically to the entrance ceremony.
“My Lady, why are you bringing those items to the entrance ceremony?”
“Hm? Aren’t such items necessary for the entrance ceremony?”
“Pardon?”
“According to rumor—or rather, a certain novel—various ‘happenings’ would occur during the academy entrance ceremony.”
Hmm… was there such a thing?
I don’t recall seeing anything like that in the entrance ceremony depicted in the original story…
“This is common sense, in its own way, you know?”
Hmm, is that so?
Is this truly common sense in this world?
Though I’ve grown somewhat accustomed to this world, it seems my status as an outsider from another world remains unchanged.
Logically, I didn’t believe such items would be immediately necessary for an entrance ceremony, but since my Young Lady said so, my common sense must surely be mistaken.
It seems I’ll need to learn more about this world’s common sense.

“Hmm, an academy…”
Late at night.
I sat at my desk, jotting down the flow of the original story as I remembered it in my notebook.
It was a game I had only played for a year before quitting, but I still needed to recall the story up to the point I had played.
The problem was that I’d mostly forgotten even that one year’s worth of story.
No, seriously, I can’t remember anything—what should I do?
I recall the general flow and a few characters, but the detailed contents escape me!
‘There’s no way my memory is this bad…’
In my previous life, working at a maid cafe, I remembered the names, faces, and even the food ordered by all the Masters who visited! There’s no way I’m such a blockhead (TL Note: A Korean slang term, ‘ppakdaegari,’ referring to someone who is unintelligent or has a bad memory.) that I can’t remember something like this!
But no matter how hard I tried to think, it wouldn’t come to me.
“Ugh, an academy, now of all times…”
To think I would actually enter an academy…
To think I would become entangled with the original story’s stage now, of all times…!
If I had known this, I should have written it down somewhere beforehand!
No matter how I looked at it, I had been far too complacent.
From the outset, given that my Young Lady was the titular heroine of ‘Destiny,’ it was her destiny to become entangled with the academy.
And as long as my Young Lady is the heroine, she will undoubtedly get caught up in dangerous situations.
Thinking that, I was finally able to accept my journey to the academy.
For the sake of protecting my Young Lady, neither a maid uniform nor a school uniform mattered.
“Sigh, if things were going to suddenly ‘drift’ into an academy setting, they could at least give me a status window.”
Hm? A status window?
Now that I think about it, there was something like that…
Hmm… I can’t remember!
