The game, [Saving the World from Ghost Stories], centered on the player’s role as an employee of the Ghost Story Management Bureau, tasked them with safeguarding Earth from the supernatural perils of ghost stories.
I could confidently boast of having poured a significant amount of effort into it.
However, as is apparently common for seasoned players (TL Note: ‘Goinmul’ refers to a highly experienced, often obsessive, player in a game, akin to a ‘hardcore veteran’ or ‘old timer’.), I found myself ensnared in a possession.
“Merchant! I’ll take ten of these healing bullets!”
“Oh my, so many! Thank you every time!”
“So, what’s the total?”
“Since you’re a regular! With a ten percent discount, I’ll let you have them for nine fresh fingers!”
To add to my predicament, I hadn’t even possessed a significant character, but merely a shop merchant, utterly inconsequential to the game’s overarching narrative.
